Megasquirt Project Fuel System
The fuel system for my EFI project was designed around using as many original GM parts as I could. I started with a tank with a built in sump originally specified for a 1987 Short bed truck. Next up, the fuel sender was for that same vehicle and is designed to hold an in-tank electric pump and has the proper electrical connections and return line. The pump is for a 1989 Camaro with tuned port injection and is designed for multiport EFI. From here I used proper adapters to 6AN feed and return lines and a high pressure EFI fuel filter. The 6AN lines connected directly to my Ramjet 350 intake which came with a 42 psi fuel pressure regulator and 8 23# delphi injectors.
