1975 GMC Gentleman Jim
My uncle
and I had been talking about these trucks this spring and he found this one
for sale. After three months of dealing, I finally bought it. It has been owned
by three people since it was new. This page describes what makes these trucks special.
1980 GMC Indy Hauler
Another special edition truck, I bought this off of Ebay in Spring 2003. It
turned out to be a pretty ugly transaction and I found out that shyster used
car salesmen are still out there. This is a pretty plain truck. As you can
its a short bed fleetside. It has the Sierra Grande trim package and has air
and cruise as it's major options. It also has a 350/TH350C.
1983 Chevrolet C30 454 TH400
I picked this up in the summer of 2003 for pulling my car trailer. It is
pretty much stock, but does that job well. It gets terrible mileage.
1986 GMC C15 6.2 Diesel TH700R4
I bought this truck in January 2004. My uncle bought it in fall 2003 from the
original owner. It is in immaculate condition and is great to drive.
I bought this truck and sold my 87 Diesel since this one was in much better
shape. It gets 22 mpg, which is pretty nice for a full size truck. It's also
the nicest of my trucks and sadly, that isn't my doing. I put 12k miles on
this truck in the first 4 months of owning it.
