There are many pages about these trucks on the web (see links) but none of them included all the information I was looking for. I will try to fill in some of the gaps of information that are on the web with this page.

I have a specific interest in the special edition trucks built by GMC and Chevrolet during the 70's and early 80's. Most specifically, I'm referring to the 1975 GMC Gentleman Jim, the 1975 GMC Beau James, the GMC Indy 500 Specials and Indy Haulers, the GMC Street Coupe pickups and the Chevy Sport pickups. There are pages out there that mention some or all of these trucks but they either have almost no information or a lot of incorrect information. I've also never seen more than a mention of these special trucks in any of the books available that talk about these trucks.
